Fiercely proud Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon and Yirendali sovereign woman Miss Kaninna is hyping herself up for a charge around the country in August and September, hot off the back of her debut mixtape.
It's been selling so hot that Miss Kaninna has added extra dates, pushing her tour into October.
Her expanded national tour coincides with the drop of BLACKPRINT, a mixtape crafted from freestyles that evolved into full blown songs Miss Kaninna performed to stadium-sized crowds. Powered by expressions of freedom, anger, joy and frustration, the Blak Britney Spears herself spits bars with her electric urgency.
Kicking off in Boorloo/Perth on August 21 (the same day the mixtape is unleashed into the world), Miss Kaninna will head north to Gulmerrogin/Darwin, down into the heart of the country in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, and then wind her way down the east coast. She'll then head to Dja Dja Wurrung Country with a special show in Castlemaine on Saturday 19 September.
After a short break, Miss Kaninna will tie off the tour with three stops in Tarndanya/Adelaide, nipaluna/Hobart and Cavanbah/Byron Bay in October.
