Mudrat Releases “Social Cohesion Live!’ - Touring UK & EUROPE THIS APRIL & MAY.
MUDRAT has quickly built a reputation as a must-see live act, delivering exceptional musicality while curating a cathartic space for collective rage and healing.
SOCIAL COHESION LIVE! brings that live experience into the home, capturing MUDRAT’s sold out hometown performance at The Northcote Social Club during the sold out SOCIAL COHESION Tour in September 2025.
Featuring the debut album SOCIAL COHESION performed in full, the project offers insight into the transitions and onstage conversations that deepen the emotional connection between artist and audience — and among the audience themselves.
The live album is accompanied by a full-length concert film: uncut and unfiltered, presenting the entire performance across three camera angles.
Arriving at a pivotal moment, SOCIAL COHESION LIVE! precedes MUDRAT’s first international tour across the EU and UK, offering global audiences a powerful preview of what’s to come.
MUDRAT's debut album SOCIAL COHESION is a direct response to proposed anti-protest laws in Victoria, which are being justified under the guise of protecting "social cohesion." This record challenges that narrative, arguing that genuine unity comes not from silence or conformity, but from facing down division and fighting for collective justice.
The album is a testament to the full evolution of the MUDRAT project. After starting as a solo artist, MUDRAT cemented his sound by forming a cohesive band, THE MISCHIEF, featuring long-time collaborator Emile Battour (Ocean Grove) on drums, Noah Sole on bass, and Javier Langham (Dancing Water) on guitar.
Taking the personal anger of earlier work and turning it into a collective, powerful anthem, it shows how music can be a tool for change and a reminder that listeners have the power to be leaders, not just bystanders. This synthesis has allowed the project to break free from the traditional artist/beat-maker dynamic, with MUDRAT effortlessly shifting between a charismatic punk frontman and a top-tier MC.
This April & May MUDRAT heads to the UK and Europe for the first time. Supporting Hyphen on his Rebel Scum Tour throughout the UK. MUDRAT will be appearing at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton as well as select dates though Europe.
Before MUDRAT heads overseas he will play 3 shows as the main support for Irish band The Scratch this week in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane, plus a headline show at Howler in Melbourne late April. Full details below.
