PALEFACE SWISS Team Up With STICK TO YOUR GUNS For Crushing New Single ‘Instrument of War’
It hasn’t been long since Paleface Swiss kicked off 2025 with their breakthrough album Cursed, swiftly followed by CURSED – The Complete Edition, featuring the brand-new track ‘I Am A Cursed One.’
After a dynamic and successful year across Europe, a near sold-out tour of Australia, a run through Mexico, and selling over 35,000 tickets in the U.S., the next step felt inevitable: a massive European tour spanning from Ireland to Spain, once again teaming up with Stick To Your Guns.
During their joint U.S. tour, Stick To Your Guns vocalist Jesse Barnett and Paleface Swiss frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger formed a strong creative bond, which led to a writing session that birthed the powerful new single ‘Instrument Of War.’ The track was recorded in-studio with manager and producer Marco Bayati, and mixed by longtime friend Florent Salfati (Landmvrks), who infused it with the signature Paleface Swiss punch. The result is a compelling fusion of the Zelliverse and Jesse Barnett’s unmistakable voice.
The creative synergy between the two bands demanded a visual counterpart, culminating in a striking music video directed by the band’s manager Kriss Jakob. The title Instrument Of War was inspired by a quote from Pablo Picasso, shared by Jesse during the tour:
“No, painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war for attack and defence against the enemy.”

This quote became the conceptual backbone of both the song and the video. Beyond its artistic impact, the track carries a powerful charitable message: 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, supporting their emergency medical work in conflict zones worldwide. A limited-edition Instrument Of War charity shirt is also available now at palefaceswiss.com, with all profits going directly to the organization.
Zelli and Jesse shared:
“No, painting is not done to decorate apartments. It is an instrument of war for attack and defence against the enemy. We felt like we both relate to this. Our music isn’t just some shit to put on in the background. It’s something real that comes from a real place, and it’s meant to attack the things that divide us and defend all the things that bring us together.”
