PRESIDENT Brings The Campaign To Australia For Debut Headline Tour
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (AUGUST 21, 2026): Multi-million streaming, UK-based collective PRESIDENT have today announced their first Australian headline tour. The announcement follows the recent reveal of the band's debut full-length album, BLOOD OF YOUR EMPIRE, arriving September 4.
Launching in 2025 and operating under the cloak of minimalism and anonymity, PRESIDENT have been cultivating intrigue with each single and live performance. They exists at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation, and cinematic atmosphere. Built to exist outside the noise, PRESIDENT have been building something that invites deeper investment — designed to be discovered, not sold. Refusing to conform to the traditional structures of genre or identity, PRESIDENT prioritize intent over image.
PRESIDENT’S Australian Campaign will be joined by Hands Like Houses, supporting on all dates. The acclaimed Canberra five-piece bring a powerful live presence, having built a devoted audience across Australia and internationally through their emotionally charged songwriting and expansive modern rock sound. Fresh off a sold-out U.S. tour supporting Bad Omens, PRESIDENT will return to Australia in February 2027 for their first headline tour of the country. Starting in Perth on Friday 19 February, the band will make stops in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane before wrapping up in Sydney on Saturday 27 February.

"Blood Of Your Empire was born out of my own struggle with existential crisis and trying to make sense of belief, mortality, and humanity's relationship with faith," President says. "Religion has inspired incredible compassion, purpose, and beauty in the world — but it has also been responsible for unimaginable suffering and bloodshed throughout history. This album lives in the tension between those two truths. Writing it became a way for me to confront the fear, confusion, and questions I've carried for years, and turn them into something I'm truly proud of." The album cover is a Eugène Delacroix painting, The Battle of Poitiers, which, consequently, hangs in the Louvre.
The band has also recently shared the video for first single "DOOMLOOP."
"The song is really about the strange tragedy of time — how we spend our lives chasing it, wasting it, and fearing it — only to realize its value once a moment is gone," President says. "It's a reminder for people to be present while they are actually living their lives, not just remembering them afterwards."
