Sublime Announces Two Additional Australian Shows Alongside Bluesfest Appearance
Sublime are officially returning to Australia this April, and it’s not just for Bluesfest in Byron Bay. The ska-punk icons have locked in Sydney and Melbourne sideshows alongside the festival run.
The band will take over Melbourne’s Festival Hall on April 1 — their first performance at the venue in nearly 30 years — before heading to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on April 4. Skeggs will join them as special guests at both shows.
The current Sublime lineup features original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh alongside Jakob Nowell, son of late frontman Bradley Nowell. These shows mark the first opportunity for Australian audiences to see this iteration of Sublime live, following the band’s previous visits under the Sublime with Rome banner prior to that project’s disbandment.
